Hi! My name is Taylor, and I am the hands behind Moss Paws Co.
I’ve always been a "plushie person." My childhood was defined by elaborate talent shows, singing competitions, and spoken poetry performed by my favorite stuffed animals while the rest of the crew watched from the front row. To me, they weren’t just toys; they were my constant travel buddies.
One of my most cherished friends is a well-worn dog - he’s missing an eye, and all of his stuffing has migrated to his butt from years of being cradled in my arms. He went everywhere with me, including a famous "disappearance" at Home Depot that sent my dad on a frantic rescue mission (only for us to find him later, tucked safely into a bed I’d made for him in a dresser drawer).
Moss Paws Co. was born from that love. I wanted to create "Clay Plushies": sculptures that capture the soft, whimsical soul of a stuffed animal in a permanent, hand-sculpted form. Whether they are "Dearly Loved" (pristine and new) or "Extra Loved" (missing an eye, just like my childhood best friend), these are more than just keychains. They are little spirits looking for a drawer to sleep in and a person to go on adventures with.
